SoundTag: Rfid Webservice for the Visually Impaired
What is SoundTag: A built-in capability in Subni which converts data about objects into synthesized sound icons to help visually impaired people in their everyday activities.

What are some example scenarios?
- Tag Prescription bottles with all relevant and important medical information 'spoken' to the user.
- Better interaction with personal environments and objects within. For example, tagging CD music collection or important documents.
- Virtual "Braille" Markers: Audio cues instead of forcing physical contact with markers for more fluid awareness of the surrounding environment.
- Retail environments which facilitate un-guided and un-hindered shopping and exploration.
- An auditory experience with a higher level of interaction than pre-recorded audio "guides".
- Relevant information about particular objects which are indistinguishable to visually impaired indivisuals.
